This template was written to deal with conversion inaccuracies arising primarily in late-model American engines marketed under metric displacement designations but originally engineered in cubic inches. Use this template to create an accurate litres-first, dual-unit displacement display for an engine with precisely known cubic-inch displacement, where using Template:Auto L results in incorrect back-conversion to cubic inches. Input the engine's displacement in cubic inches.
Examples:
- {{Auto Lrev|305|0}}: 5 L (305 cu in)
- {{Auto Lrev|318}}: 5.2 L (318 cu in)
