This template takes a two-letter language code concatenated with a letter or digraph, and converts it into a phonetic (IPA) symbol according to the adopted respelling convention (currently for Polish only). It is used by {{IPAr}} to create sequences of such linked symbols. (If used for any other purposes, the result must be placed within an IPA template to ensure correct display.)
