The site was razed and is now home to Station 81 of the [[Los Angeles Fire Department]] as well as several retail chains such as Starbucks, Home Depot, Toys R Us, Manns 16 movie theater, as well as several other stores.
Production of automobiles began in 1959 with the [[Chevrolet Corvair]] and ended in 1992 with the [[GM B platform|B-bodies]]. Willow Run also built the [[Chevrolet Nova]] (1962-1979) and [[GM X platform|X-bodies]] (1980-1985).
